At last we are a kind and Christian nation, who take care of their children and don’t murder at birth.  The States can negate that, but then, we all have the choice and still do—good or evil.  Evil for rewards in this world, good for rewards in the next.

The people of choice still have the eternal choice of good or evil, and either way, they’ll have to live with it whether they choose temporary or eternal life.  We have enough assets in this life to make the choice a no-brainer weighed against eternal happiness.  I’m with you, Christus.

To those who don’t like Donald Trump, I say, “Ask God to help you understand why he turned the 2016 election the way he did.”  America had a need for that at that time.  Why?  Let God tell you.

The average American at that time could not criticize Donald Trump.  He and they were part of the culture.  Think about infidelity, Self, abortion, divorce, greed, and I won’t include racism.  We are the disobedient children of the Creator.

When are we going to make amends?  When will the 60’s crowd straighten up?  Time will tell.

George Weigel calls for a New Awakening for America, much like the Revolution of 1989 in Eastern Europe (freedom from Communism), and it would entail a new moral foundation, like that of 1776.  “For living in the truth, in the new Awakening that can revitalize American public moral culture can mean recognizing what is often described as a decline…in democratic values…and the truths about the human person that are essential to democratic governance.”

Keep God of the bible in mind; Western civilization achieved nothing without him.

George Weigel, whose excellent book, The Fragility of Order, criticizes the excesses of Obamacare, has some remarks about the Gnostic (failure to recognize reality) legislative ventures of various States, such as same-sex marriage.  You are born male or female, and to contradict nature because of the makeup of your mind is somewhat futile.

God, of course, has his own view of gender, and the birth records don’t recognize the sufferings of those with mixed-up biology.  They have to fend as best they can with the majority.  Christian kindness always saves the day.

It started out in the American revolution.  It was called “independence,” and it was good.  Then came the French revolution.  It was called “Self,” and it was bad.  The American Left continues the idea of “Self,” to the detriment of American democracy.

You can’t put a million personal “goods” above what common sense tells you is the common good—that’s chaos.  Democracy demands a contribution from each of us, and that means uprightness and honesty.  You want to be liberal, all right, but don’t do it in this country or soon there’ll be anarchy and autocracy.
