I’d like to protect my son and his family from what Biden is doing with our money, but I have neither the knowledge nor astuteness to do this.  All I have is the contact with the Father who created this world and on whose help I rely.

I hope and believe in his help, and will step forth into the future with faith, trusting that the education which I gave my son with God’s help will stand us in good stead at this moment.  I pray to Jesus Christ, who helped me get this far.  Amen.

I have an aide from the Caribbean while Loretta is at the rehab, and this morning I asked her for scrambled eggs or an omelet.  She gave me a choice, so I said omelet.  What she gave me was a spiced sunny-side up egg.  I guess omelets are not the big thing in the Caribbean.

We are all individuals with varied backgrounds, and we make the most of what God provides.  No need to be ashamed of what we’ve missed.  When I told her an omelet requires about six eggs, she was astounded.  Thanks to the Lord for our civilization.

Catholicism has outdone Islam again.  Catholics have adopted one of the precepts of the Enlightenment – freedom of religion.  Not everything that came out of the Enlightenment was true, but this was.

Reason still holds sway in argument, although we may question it in Quantum physics, but the world that God created has not favored Islam, which boasts only 1.8 billion followers compared to Christianity’s 2.3.  Add to this the accomplishments of Christian Civilization, and you don’t just have a man in the moon.

Let us continue to pray that reason prescribe the interactions of men, lest we be reduced to chaos.

I see them wafting about on the air, little bits of floss, and I just couldn’t remember the name of the plant that gave birth to them.  Finally, talking to my son, it came back to me – milkweed, one of the wonders of God’s creation.

The plant forms a pod shaped like a parakeet, green, and when it ripens, it bursts along a seam and all these milky, floss-winged seeds take off on the spring air, giving it the venue of carnival time.  Milkweed, indeed.

There are many wonders in Nature, evolved there by a God who wanted to impress the children he’d eventually create, and I’d say he did a superb job.  I love to get out and walk Nature’s paths.

As someone who speaks the Swiss dialect of German, I can sympathize with the Caribbean Jamaicans who speak the English patois (dialect) and have it affect their correct English so it is not understandable, at least not on the first try. 

The world as God created it has many wondrous aspects, and far be it from me to criticize.  Ad maiorem Dei Gloriam.
