The Estimators

All you doubters, here’s cash proof of what I’ve been saying.  I had to have a hole in my utility room repaired and my kitchen refloored.  This in Judeo-Christian Western Civilization.  The first estimate was $1200 just to treat the mold in the hole and the utility room.  The second estimate, from a different handyman, was $1284 for everything.  The second man, a talkative fellow, lost his father, when he was fifteen and had to go to work to support his five brothers and mother.

The second estimator was a man of faith, and trusted I would pay an irregular repair.  I trusted he wasn’t scamming me.  The result, because of trust, was a profitable transaction for two.
