Worldly Success

We sometimes set out to do what we think is God’s will, and then become waylaid or distracted.  But if we were sincere in our attempt, another opportunity will arise, perhaps greater than the first.  I was once distracted from my purpose, but then came the opportunity of teaching.

It was at times tedious, but I persevered, and the years of effort resulted in years of authorship.  If we persevere, the Lord makes our sand castle a piece of enduring art.

I have always suspected that my successes were not my work alone.  There was a higher spirit inspiring them.
