I have one complaint about science. The explanations are dull. I am reading an excellent book by Frank Wilczek, the Nobel laureate, and of course he never mentions a supreme being. But this is true of all of modern science.
Things just happen by themselves. They take a great story, like the big bang, and the story runs like one of the Glockenspiels (mechanical clock-tower figurines) in Bern, and of course never mentions that somebody winds them up or turns on the switch.
The authors of the Bible tell it with drama. Somebody made these people and things, Somebody with character and personality. It seems to me that if something is formed out of nothing, it doesn’t happen by itself. I know that much of reality.
