Embarrassing Moments

We sometimes find it necessary to say something embarrassing.  What do we do then?  If it is the kind and moral thing to do, why, don’t slip out, but do the brave thing and speak it; time may justify you.  If it is merely a hurting remark, nobody will know you left it out of your conversation.

St. John the Baptist promised the Holy Spirit, which brings courage, to all who follow Christ, and that means no doubting.  Say the right thing and be at peace.  To be mentally sane takes the will to do the right thing without regrets.
