Summer Jaunt

One past summer I spent with my wife and youngest son in the Swiss Alps.  After many years of cohabitation, the Swiss have made these wild environs easily accessible through cog-wheel railways and foot paths.  They are a God-given gift for those yearning to touch the face of God.

To gaze across the terrain of two glaciers, past the wild flowers nuzzled by grazing summer cows and goats, and behold the distant massifs is really to be in another world.  Now I know who created the rock-strewn rings of Saturn.

There are many rock-strewn thoughts in my life, so I like the setting.  Blessed be God and His ways.
