George Weigel, in his book, The Fragility of Order, tells how Communism with its evil patron saints, Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and the rest, has martyred Christians for the past years, (more than the total of 2,000 years) and penetrated the Vatican and the Russian Orthodox Church.
They besmirched Pius XII but didn’t win out with the Polish Pope, John Paul II. One of their agents died in the arms of John Paul I. That’s irony.
It’s a fierce battle, and the foot-soldiers of the Catholic Faith do the dying. God grant them a bigger reward than to the Catholic Hierarchy, though remember Cardinal Wyszinsky and Monsignor Bardecki.
