You might say there’s a difference in success, (he’s sold about 300 million books), but I haven’t said finis yet. I’m not trying to sell books anymore—I’m measuring my impact on this world.
Of course, I’ve been a teacher, of Steve Israel, for example, and I’ve tried to influence people to do good. I tried many things—raising a family, courting a beautiful girl, and more, but the impact on this sometimes awry world has not been distinct. I want people to say, “He made a difference.”
Maybe they won’t say it. Maybe only God will know. That’s enough.
